Core Job Responsibilities1. Finance & Operational Accounting
- Package Costing & Ledger Scrutiny: Overseeing accurate accounting for customized domestic and international tour itineraries, hotel inventory bookings, and transport vendor credits.
- Accounts Receivable & Payable (AR/AP): Monitoring credit lines given to corporate accounts or retail travel agents while ensuring timely disbursements to tour operators, airlines, and local destination management companies (DMCs).
- Reconciliations: Managing complicated, high-volume reconciliations (Bank, BSP/GDS flight booking systems, and foreign exchange accounts).
2. Team Leadership & Operations (The "Team Leader" Aspect)
- Workflow Delegation: Mentoring and distributing tasks among a team of junior accountants and billing executives.
- Month-End Closures: Leading the team to ensure accurate and strict timelines for closing monthly books and generating Management Information System (MIS) reports for the directors.
- Conflict Resolution: Stepping in to handle vendor payment disputes or delayed corporate collections that the junior team escalation paths cannot resolve.
3. Statutory & Taxation Compliance (India Specific)
- GST in Tourism: Managing complex Place of Supply rules under GST for tour operators, and tracking Input Tax Credit (ITC) on hotel and transport invoices.
- TCS & Foreign Remittances: Supervising Tax Collected at Source (TCS) compliance on Outbound Tour Packages and managing foreign currency payments via LRS (Liberalised Remittance Scheme) protocols.
- Audits: Preparing files and spearheading the coordination for annual statutory audits and tax assessments.
Required Skill Set & Competencies

EducationM.Com, Inter-CA, Inter-ICWA, or an MBA in Finance.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
