As a CCTV Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems for our clients. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients' properties and assets.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, monitors, recording equipment, and networking components.
- Conduct site surveys to assess security needs and determine the most effective placement of CCTV equipment.
- Program and integrate CCTV systems with other security systems, such as access control and alarms, to provide comprehensive security solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with CCTV equipment, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of CCTV systems.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in CCTV technology.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in installing and configuring CCTV equipment and software.
- Strong understanding of networking principles and IP-based CCTV systems.
- Familiarity with different types of CCTV cameras, lenses, and accessories.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCTV Installation Certification) are a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
