Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom and workshop training on automobile engineering and vehicle maintenance.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, presentations, and practical assignments.
- Demonstrate automotive repair, servicing, and diagnostic procedures.
- Assess trainees through tests, practical evaluations, and assignments.
- Monitor student performance and provide guidance for skill improvement.
- Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and training aids in proper condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop regulations.
- Keep updated with the latest automotive technologies, industry trends, and regulations.
- Assist in curriculum development and training program enhancement.
- Support placement activities, industry visits, seminars, and skill competitions.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and assessment reports.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in automotive technology will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in automobile servicing, repair, diagnostics, or technical training.
- Experience in teaching/training students in an academic or skill-development environment is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, engines, transmission, braking, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and modern automotive technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on training.
- Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
- Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.
