Job Summary
McLine Studios is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Interior Designer for a Remote / Work From Home role. The selected candidate will work closely with our engineering team and collaborate with clients based in the US and Canada. This position is ideal for candidates with 2–4 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and millwork/interior projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed shop drawings and production drawings.
- Prepare shop drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings as per AWI/AWMAC/NKBA or specific client standards.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients through calls and emails.
- Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure project accuracy and timely delivery.
- Continuously refine and improve design and drafting skills while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Architectural Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Candidates with relevant coursework or certifications in CAD drafting will also be considered.
- 2–4 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, preferably in millwork/joinery or interior projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience with North American projects and familiarity with AWI/AWMAC/NKBA standards will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
