Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer – Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted operation of all electrical systems, machinery, utilities, and production equipment across manufacturing facilities. The role involves preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical installations to achieve maximum equipment availability and plant productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical equipment.
- Maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, APFC panels, MCCs, VFDs, and electrical distribution systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in CNC machines, VMCs, hydraulic presses, forging equipment, extrusion lines, plating plants, and utility equipment.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Maintain electrical drawings, maintenance records, and spare inventory.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new machines and equipment.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring electrical failures.
- Manage contractors and service providers for electrical maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Electrical Supervisor License preferred.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in maintenance within manufacturing industries.
- Experience in CNC machines, industrial automation, PLCs, VFDs, and utility maintenance preferred.
Salary Range : 25000 to 30000
