We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Experience candidate to join our team as a Communications and Fundraising Assistant (Executive). The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills in Bengali and be conversationally and professionally fluent in English. This role is ideal for someone passionate about social development and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, identify and evaluate prospective funding opportunities across corporate CSR programmes, foundations, trusts, government agencies, multilateral organisations and individual giving platforms.
- Proactively reach out to prospective donors and funding partners to introduce RHCF, explore partnership opportunities and build a robust fundraising pipeline.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective donors through regular communication, follow-ups, meetings and presentations.
- Prepare and submit grant proposals, concept notes, funding applications, budgets and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with programme, finance and operations teams to gather information required for funding proposals and donor reporting.
- Maintain a tracker of funding opportunities, proposals, donor interactions, reporting deadlines and funding outcomes.
- Monitor fundraising trends and identify new opportunities to diversify RHCF funding base.
- Draft high-quality correspondence, reports, proposals and other fundraising communication materials.
- Develop impact stories, case studies and success narratives highlighting programme outcomes.
- Coordinate with programme teams to collect data, beneficiary stories, photographs and documentation required for donor communication.
- Ensure consistency in organisational messaging across fundraising and partnership materials.
- Support the planning and execution of retail fundraising initiatives, digital fundraising campaigns, fundraising events and community engagement activities.
- Maintain donor databases, fundraising records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bengali (very good command required)
- Conversational and professional fluency in English
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Interest in social development and community engagement
- Smart and Dynamic in Nature

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
