The Engineer – EHS – Site is responsible for supporting the implementation of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems at the project site. The role ensures day-to-day monitoring of safety practices, compliance with standard operating procedures, and proactive identification of hazards. The incumbent supports site safety audits, training Sensitivity: LNT Construction Internal Use programs, contractor supervision, incident reporting, and environmental management activities to ensure a safe, compliant, and sustainable work environment.
Daily Site Safety Monitoring: Conduct routine inspections across work zones to identify hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions. ? Compliance Support: Ensure adherence to all statutory, regulatory, and internal safety requirements, and maintain necessary EHS documentation. ? Contractor Safety Oversight: Monitor and guide contractor teams for proper PPE usage, safe work methods, and adherence to permit-to-work systems. ? Incident Reporting: Support timely reporting and investigation of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions. Maintain incident logs and support root cause analysis ? Toolbox Talks and Awareness: Organize and conduct toolbox talks, site inductions, and daily safety briefings in coordination with site execution teams.
