Roles & Responsibilities:
A radiographer is an allied healthcare professional who operates advanced imaging equipment (like X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound) to produce diagnostic images. They prepare patients, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate with physicians to help diagnose and monitor illnesses or injuries. [1, 2]Core Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Prepare patients for imaging, explain the procedures to reduce anxiety, and ensure comfort and safety during the scan. [1, 2, 3]
- Image Acquisition: Precisely position the patient and equipment to capture high-quality, diagnostic-grade images as prescribed by doctors. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to radiation protection protocols, monitoring radiation doses to both protect patients and safeguard healthcare staff. [1, 2]
- Equipment Management: Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging machines, reporting any maintenance issues. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Collaboration: Work alongside radiologists and other medical professionals, ensuring images are recorded and logged accurately into patient records.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
