You won't be running experiments in a sandbox. You'll be building applied AI that enterprises actually deploy — and shaping the commercial conversations that get them there. EVOQ is where research meets revenue. You'll work with a tight, elite team, have direct influence over the AI solutions we bring to market, and be in the room when it matters — with clients, in deals, and at the whiteboard. THE ROLE
We're seeking a Principal Applied AI Scientist — someone who combines research-grade thinking with production-grade execution and the commercial acumen to make it land with enterprise clients. You'll span Build, Advise, and Prove across every engagement.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
01 · BUILD — AI-Native Solutions & R&D
Drive R&D on agentic AI applications. Build production-grade solutions using LLMs, multi-agent systems, RAG architectures, and orchestration frameworks. Design novel approaches to context intelligence, memory, and reasoning. Ship code that scales — not demos that impress once.
02 · ADVISE — Consultative Selling & Pre-Sales
Present AI strategies and architectures to CxOs. Engage in discovery sessions, translate complex AI into business value narratives, and lead technical discussions during sales cycles. Position EVOQ's agentic capabilities as the differentiated answer to client transformation challenges.
03 · PROVE — POCs & Early Client Engagement
Design and deliver POCs that demonstrate measurable ROI. Work hands-on with client teams, establish success metrics, and create the bridge from pilot to production. Provide solution expertise to early-stage deals and projects — your fingerprints on outcomes that matter.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Technical Depth (Non-Negotiable)
- Expert in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and the modern AI stack
- Deep hands-on with RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and LLM orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen)
- Fluency in agentic architectures: multi-agent coordination, context management, AI governance
- Production-quality coding instincts; MLOps and cloud deployment (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Ability to move from architecture whiteboard to working prototype — fast
The Profile We Want
- 8–12 years in data science / ML / AI engineering — with shipped, production solutions (not research papers alone)
- Background in product companies, COEs, or innovation accelerators — builder DNA is essential
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI, multi-agent systems, or enterprise LLM deployments
- Commercially aware — comfortable in pre-sales, articulate with executives, fluent in business value
- Industry exposure across BFSI, Retail, T&H, Technology, or Manufacturing
