Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the school library.
- Organize, catalog, classify, and maintain books, journals, magazines, digital resources, and other learning materials.
- Assist students and teachers in locating and using library resources effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of library inventory, circulation, and acquisitions.
- Recommend new books and educational resources.
- Support classroom teaching by providing relevant learning resources.
- Train students in information literacy, research skills, and responsible use of digital resources.
- Coordinate annual stock verification and weeding of outdated materials.
- Maintain a quiet, safe, and student-friendly library environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc./B.L.I.Sc.) from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in library management software and basic computer applications.
- Good command of English; knowledge of the local language is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a librarian, preferably in a school.
- Experience managing digital library resources and automated library systems is preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
