A Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing materials, and ensuring proper storage and record-keeping of goods in a warehouse or store.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices
Maintain accurate stock records (manual or computerized systems)
Store materials in an organized and safe manner
Issue materials as per requisitions and maintain proper documentation
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and coding of inventory items
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store/warehouse
Coordinate with procurement, production, and accounts departments
Handle damaged, expired, or obsolete stock appropriately
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
