Job Summary
Senior Network Security Lead responsible for leading firewall and security policy management operations across Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and Tufin platforms. The role will drive 24x7 operational stability, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement within Canada Life’s enterprise network security landscape. This role acts as Track Lead, owning delivery, escalations, stakeholder management, and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Key Roles & Responsibilities (R&R) 1. Operational Leadership (Track Ownership) Own end-to-end delivery of Network Security operations (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Tufin) Act as Single Point of Accountability (SPOA) for firewall/security track Lead daily operations, service reviews, and governance cadences Manage L2/L3 teams, ensuring SLA and KPI adherence
Skill Requirements
Firewall & Security Technology Management Manage and administer: Checkpoint (MDS, VSX, Maestro, VPN) Palo Alto (NGFW, Panorama) Tufin (SecureTrack, SecureChange policy orchestration) Oversee: Firewall rule lifecycle (create / modify / decommission) Policy optimization and recertification Performance, HA, and resilience architecture Ensure secure configurations aligned with enterprise security policies
