Pre & Post Order Confirmation-
Act as the single point technical owner for all products, accountable for fit, function, safety, durability, and aesthetics via the internal portal.- Translate design intent into scalable, quality-stable products while meeting commercial targets.- Conduct downstream risk assessments during development (fabric behavior, construction, wash impact, bulk scalability).- Review and validate tech packs, specifications, measurement charts, and workmanship standards.- Ensure full compliance with global safety, labeling, and regulatory requirements.
Order Management & Development Control- Ensure samples serve a defined technical purpose and accurately represent bulk production.- Monitor development timelines to ensure alignment with merchandising calendars.- Oversee the technical team to ensure order summaries are updated.- Escalate risks and block production when technical issues remain unresolved.- Support factories in resolving technical challenges during production scale-up.
Cross-Functional & Buyer/Supplier Interface- Serve as the technical bridge between buyers, merchandising, QA, and factories.- Communicate technical risks and solutions professionally to all stakeholders.- Lead buyer meetings, fit reviews, and technical presentations.- Support vendor development through training, SOP implementation, and process improvements.- Conduct weekly discussions with [MM Name/Title] regarding delivery alerts and submission delays.
Communication & Data Assessment- Assess any failures with management on a daily basis.- Ensure all technical data is accurately captured and controlled within the digital portal.- Define data ownership, version control, and approval hierarchies to prevent miscommunication.- Enforce disciplined documentation for traceability and implement root cause/preventive action frameworks.- Measure the effectiveness of process improvements through defined KPIs.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement- Map end-to-end technical workflows to identify gaps and non-value-added activities.- Standardize critical processes while establishing category-wise SOPs for complex styles.- Ensure innovation delivers measurable improvements in speed, quality, and cost.- Investigate product issues and complaints, providing solutions and supporting direct reports in their investigations.
Team Management- Upskill teams on digital tools, new technologies, and modern technical practices.- Develop training modules to standardize the adoption of innovation.- Set performance goals, review technical KPIs, and present reports to senior management.- Coach and mentor team members to enhance overall departmental capabilities.

Pay: ₹125,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
