Company & Project Overview
We are a private entity currently developing a flagship residential asset in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Our design philosophy is heavily influenced by the precision, minimalism, and high-performance engineering found in top-tier technology products (drawing aesthetic benchmarks from companies like Stripe and Linear).
We are moving away from traditional maximalist Indian design and focusing on mathematically precise architecture, highly engineered MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) integration, and invisible technology. We are seeking an Interior Architecture Intern who wants to learn how to execute spatial design with rigorous technical discipline.
The Role
As an Interior Architecture Intern, you will work directly with the project leads and engineering teams to support the transition from conceptual design to on-site execution. This is not a "decorating" internship. You will not be picking throw pillows. You will be drafting technical execution plans, producing 3D visualizations for complex architectural nodes, and learning how high-end minimalist infrastructure (concealed doors, trimless lighting, shadow gaps) is actually built.
Core Responsibilities
- Drafting & Shop Drawings: Assist in producing highly detailed 2D AutoCAD execution drawings for civil and interior contractors. You will help draft exact dimensional tolerances for modern architectural details like reveal baseboards (shadow gaps) and flush-mount frameless doors.
- 3D Visualization: Create precise SketchUp or Rhino models of complex spaces (such as a dual-kitchen layout or concealed utility zones) to verify that MEP infrastructure does not clash with the visual design.
- Material Research & Sourcing: Research and source high-performance, large-format materials suitable for the extreme Rajasthan climate and hard water conditions. Maintain the physical materials library and coordinate with vendors for samples.
- Site Assistance: Accompany project leads on rigorous site visits in Jaipur. You will take site measurements, verify contractor alignments, and learn how to enforce millimeter-level precision before permanent finishing phases commence.
- Infrastructure Shadowing: Learn the integration of heavy infrastructure, including centralized HVAC ducting, PEX-AL-PEX manifold plumbing systems, and hardwired KNX/Lutron automation backbones.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a Bachelor’s program in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a strictly technical Interior Design discipline.
- Software Proficiency: Strong foundational skills in AutoCAD (mandatory) and spatial visualization software (SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Rhino).
- The "Trimless" Mindset: A strong interest in minimalist, modern aesthetics (clean lines, neutral palettes, concealed storage) and a desire to learn the structural realities of building them.
- Work Ethic: Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of taking precise notes during site and engineering meetings.

Please submit your resume along with a technical portfolio (PDF format or link). Your portfolio must include examples of 2D CAD drafting (floor plans or elevations) alongside any 3D renders you provide.
