Key Responsibilities

Create, modify, and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using Creo and PLM tools.

Develop machine layouts, assembly layouts, and manufacturing documentation in accordance with design requirements.

Ensure compliance with company, industry, national, and international engineering standards.

Process and execute internal engineering work requests within defined timelines.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and product engineering.

Participate in and conduct Drawing Quality Reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards.

Generate and manage engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs) and related product documentation.

Apply GD&T principles, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design-for-manufacturing best practices during product development.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to design processes, quality, and productivity.

Maintain engineering data and documentation within PLM systems.
Skills and Experience Required

Bachelor's Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering or a related engineering environment.

Proficiency in Creo (latest version) for both 2D drafting and 3D modeling is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of machine layouts and assembly layouts.

Experience in the design of press tools, jigs, fixtures, assembly fixtures, and machine tools.

Hands-on experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack-up analysis.
