About the Role:
Scholars Abroad Solutions – Language Academy is looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our growing team.
The Academic Counsellor will guide students and parents regarding study abroad opportunities, courses, universities, and language programs, understand their requirements, and help them choose suitable options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and parents regarding study abroad programs and courses.
- Understand students' academic background, interests, and career goals.
- Provide accurate information about courses, universities, and available opportunities.
- Handle enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, and face-to-face interactions.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
- Convert enquiries and leads into counselling appointments and admissions.
- Maintain student and lead records.
- Coordinate with internal teams for the smooth application process.
- Achieve assigned counselling and conversion targets.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Requirements Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good English and Tamil communication skills.
- Strong convincing and counselling abilities.
- Confident, positive, and student-friendly personality.
- Basic computer and MS Office knowledge.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Experience in education counselling, study abroad, telecalling, sales, or customer service is an added advantage.
