Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Business Development Executive with hands-on experience in bidding across freelance platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, and Guru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying relevant opportunities, crafting tailored proposals, and contributing to the company’s lead generation and client acquisition efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and shortlist relevant projects on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, etc.
- Draft compelling, customized, and client-focused proposals to increase win rates
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads and bidding opportunities
- Analyze client requirements and align proposals with company capabilities
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical/operations) to ensure accurate scope and delivery feasibility.
- Track bidding performance, responses, and conversions for continuous improvement
- Stay updated with trends, algorithms, and best practices on freelance platforms
Requirements:
- 6 months to 1 year of proven experience in bidding on freelance platforms
- Strong understanding of Upwork and similar marketplaces
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze project requirements and create winning proposals
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and target-oriented mindset
- Basic understanding of IT services (preferred but not mandatory)
