Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing construction projects from conception through to completion. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development of infrastructure that positively impacts communities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Planning: Develop detailed designs and plans for infrastructure projects including roads, highways, bridges, water and sewage systems, and other public works. Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software for design and drafting.
- Project Management: Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines. Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Site Evaluation and Analysis: Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies. Analyze data (e.g., maps, reports, tests) to assess project feasibility, environmental impact, and risks.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction projects.
- Construction Oversight: Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards. Resolve design and construction challenges as they arise.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare reports, drawings, and documentation for project proposals, progress reports, and presentations. Maintain accurate records of project milestones and expenditures.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and quality control assessments to verify workmanship and compliance with project requirements.
- Client Relations: Cultivate positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. Address client concerns and provide timely updates on project status and milestones.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or willingness to pursue licensure.
- 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software.
