Software Tester Intern
Location: Calicut (On-site)
Duration: 3 Months Internship
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship program. This internship is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or students who want to gain practical experience in software testing and quality assurance while working on real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and executing test cases based on project requirements.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps.
- Support functional, regression, and usability testing.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to resolve issues.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team meetings.
- Maintain test documentation, test reports, and defect logs.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure application quality before release.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC fundamentals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira is an added advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of manual testing (automation testing knowledge is a plus).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
