Position: Optical Store Manager
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the optical store, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Lead and guide the optical sales team to achieve business and customer service objectives.
- Assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and optical products based on their requirements and prescriptions.
- Ensure accurate optical measurements, frame fitting, lens orders, and timely delivery of products.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, product availability, and maintain proper stock records.
- Ensure proper display, cleanliness, and visual merchandising of optical products.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide effective resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with optometrists and ophthalmology teams for prescription-related clarifications.
- Maintain records of customer prescriptions, sales transactions, billing details, and work orders.
- Ensure compliance with store processes, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
- Drive sales performance through effective customer engagement and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Graduation in Optometry or relevant optical retail experience preferred.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in optical retail, eyewear, or eye care industry.
- Strong knowledge of frames, lenses, coatings, optical products, and customer requirements.
- Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Customer-focused with strong sales and service orientation.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with billing/inventory systems.
- Ability to manage store operations independently.
- Well-groomed, professional, and approachable personality.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
