About the Role
We are looking for an HVAC/MEP Design Trainer to deliver practical, industry-oriented training in HVAC and MEP design software and engineering fundamentals.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of HVAC/MEP design workflows and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly through practical demonstrations, exercises, and project-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct practical training sessions on HVAC/MEP design and engineering concepts.
- Train students/learners in:
- E20 – HVAC design and analysis
- HAP – Heating and cooling load calculations and HVAC system analysis
- Duct Sizer – Duct sizing and design
- Pipe Sizer – Pipe sizing and design
- AutoCAD – HVAC/MEP drafting and layouts
- Revit MEP – BIM-based MEP modelling and documentation
- Explain HVAC design procedures, calculations, equipment selection and system fundamentals.
- Develop practical exercises, assignments and project-based training activities.
- Guide learners in preparing HVAC/MEP drawings and design documentation.
- Demonstrate industry-oriented design workflows and best practices.
- Evaluate assignments and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Keep training content aligned with current industry practices and software workflows.
- Support learners with technical doubts during practical sessions.
- Maintain a professional and engaging classroom/laboratory environment.
Required Skills
- Good practical knowledge of HVAC/MEP design.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Familiarity with HAP, E20, Duct Sizer and Pipe Sizer.
- Understanding of HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing and basic MEP design principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and structured manner.
- Comfortable conducting practical/laboratory sessions and demonstrations.
Education & Experience
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering qualification.
- Prior experience in HVAC design, MEP design, BIM, HVAC projects, engineering consultancy, project execution or technical training will be an advantage.
- Candidates with relevant hands-on software and HVAC/MEP experience are encouraged to apply.
