Stipend: ₹5,000 per month
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Web Development & SEO Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in website development, full-stack web technologies, e-commerce platforms, and search engine optimization. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of website development and be willing to work on live projects while learning industry best practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesWeb Development
- Assist in developing and maintaining responsive websites.
- Design, develop, and customize websites using WordPress.
- Develop and manage Shopify stores.
- Build and maintain WooCommerce-based e-commerce websites.
- Assist in developing web applications using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js).
- Install, configure, and customize themes and plugins.
- Optimize website speed, security, and overall performance.
- Troubleshoot website issues and perform regular maintenance.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and compatible across browsers.
SEO & Digital Optimization
- Perform on-page SEO optimization for websites.
- Optimize website content, meta titles, descriptions, and URLs.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Monitor website performance using analytics and SEO tools.
- Improve website rankings through technical SEO best practices.
- Generate SEO performance reports and recommend improvements.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Knowledge of WordPress Development.
- Understanding of Shopify Development.
- Experience with WooCommerce Development.
- Basic knowledge of the MERN Stack, including:
- MongoDB (Database)
- Express.js (Server Framework)
- React.js (Front-end Development)
- Node.js (Back-end Runtime Environment)
- Basic understanding of website hosting, domains, and cPanel.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals and Google Search Console.
- Knowledge of website speed optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and database integration is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles is a plus.
