Job Title: Primary English Teacher

The Primary English Teacher is responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and student-centered learning environment that develops students' English language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The teacher will deliver curriculum-aligned lessons, assess student progress, and support the overall academic and personal development of primary school students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Develop students' literacy skills, including reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, creative writing, and spoken English.
- Use interactive teaching methods, educational technology, and activity-based learning.
- Assess student learning through assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills.
- Organize classroom activities, storytelling sessions, reading programs, and language enrichment activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, school events, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure classroom discipline while promoting respect and collaboration among students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in English or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- CTET/TET qualification (preferred where applicable).
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in a primary school (preferred).

- Knowledge of child-centered teaching methodologies.
- Creativity in lesson planning and classroom activities.
