The Housekeeping Guest Service Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel premises. The role ensures a high standard of guest service through prompt, courteous, and efficient housekeeping practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Room Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards (beds, linen, bathrooms, amenities).
- Replenish guest supplies and room amenities regularly.
- Report maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
Public Area Cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, lobby, staircases, elevators, and other public spaces.
- Ensure proper sanitation of washrooms and high-touch surfaces.
Laundry & Linen Handling
- Collect, sort, and distribute hotel linen as per procedures.
- Ensure proper handling of guest laundry and lost-and-found items.
Guest Service
- Respond promptly to guest requests (extra towels, cleaning, amenities).
- Deliver courteous and professional service at all times.
Health & Safety
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols set by the hotel.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
Teamwork & Reporting
- Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance teams for room readiness.
- Report room status, occupancy, and housekeeping updates to supervisors.
Work Environment
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
