An MIS (Management Information Systems) Analyst manages and evaluates organizational data to generate actionable reports. They bridge the gap between IT and business by cleaning, analysing, and visualizing data to support management decision-making.
Core Responsibilities
- Reporting & Dashboards: Design, build, and maintain automated daily, weekly, and monthly management reports and performance dashboards.
- Data Analysis: Process and analyse raw data to spot trends, track KPIs, identify operational gaps, and improve efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Gather data from various departments (Academics, finance, HR, and operations) and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify and develop new management information initiatives to optimize data flow and system quality.
- System Maintenance: Administer databases and information systems to ensure data availability, security, and smooth operations.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Technical Proficiencies: Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, macros) is non-negotiable. Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is highly preferred.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail to ensure zero-error reporting.
- Communication: Ability to distil complex, technical datasets into simple, easy-to-understand insights for top management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Typically requires 2 to 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data handling, or MIS reporting in Education Sector preferably
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
