Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests politely
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and drinks according to hotel standards
- Set up and clean tables before and after service
- Ensure cleanliness of dining and service areas
- Handle guest complaints professionally
- Prepare bills and process payments
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and promotions
- Follow hygiene and safety standards
- Support banquet, buffet, and room service operations when required
Required Skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Teamwork and positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- Ability to work under pressure
- Time management skills
- Basic English speaking ability (often preferred in hotels)
Qualification
- High school / 12th pass (minimum in many hotels)
- Diploma or certificate in hotel management is an advantage
