Your future duties and responsibilities
Job Overview – Actimize Developer
An Actimize Developer is responsible for developing, customizing, implementing, and maintaining financial crime prevention solutions using the NICE Actimize platform. The role involves designing and enhancing Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud Detection, and Financial Crime Compliance applications to help organizations detect suspicious activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and minimize financial risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, configure, and customize NICE Actimize solutions based on business requirements.
Design and implement AML, Fraud Detection, and Compliance workflows.
Create and maintain Actimize Risk Case Manager (RCM), Integrated Fraud Management (IFM), and Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) solutions.
Develop custom Java components, SQL queries, and ETL processes to support Actimize applications.
Integrate Actimize with third-party systems using APIs, web services, and messaging frameworks.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
Collaborate with business analysts, compliance teams, QA, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with NICE Actimize platform.
Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and SQL.
Knowledge of AML, KYC, Fraud Detection, and Financial Crime Compliance.
Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations.
Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Actimize AIS, RCM, SAM, IFM, or CDD modules.
Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Understanding of financial regulations such as BSA, OFAC, FATF, and AML compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in NICE Actimize development and implementation (depending on the role).
