Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Faculty member for Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management to deliver classroom and practical training and help students develop strong academic and industry-oriented knowledge.
The ideal candidate should have a background in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Aviation, Warehousing, Transportation, or a related field, along with good communication and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
- Teach topics related to freight management, freight forwarding, shipping, transportation, warehousing, inventory, procurement, supply chain operations, and logistics documentation.
- Provide relevant practical knowledge of air cargo and aviation operations, including passenger handling, customer service, professional communication, and aviation-related practices where applicable.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, study materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Guide students through projects, case studies, practical activities, and industry-oriented assignments.
- Explain concepts using practical industry examples and real-world case studies.
- Monitor student performance and provide academic guidance and support.
- Conduct examinations, assessments, and practical evaluations.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, and student performance reports.
- Maintain quality teaching standards and actively participate in academic activities.
- Support students with career guidance and industry-oriented knowledge.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Shipping, Aviation, or a related field.
- Master's degree/MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 1+ year of relevant teaching and/or industry experience preferred.
- Candidates with experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, shipping, freight forwarding, transportation, procurement, or aviation will be preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
- Knowledge of Malayalam will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Industry certifications in Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.
- Experience teaching Diploma, Undergraduate, or Vocational courses is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of freight management and logistics operations.
- Ability to engage students through practical examples, case studies, activities, and industry scenarios.
- Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Candidates with relevant industry experience and a strong interest in teaching are encouraged to apply.
