Role Overview: - We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to lead and manage our financial operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency, while supporting the company’s strategic growth initiatives. This role is based at our Trivandrum office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end accounting function, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow management
- Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities
- Analyse financial performance and provide strategic insights to senior management
- Establish and strengthen internal controls, ensuring transparency and accountability
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting systems, processes, and reporting efficiency
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounts team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- CA / CMA (Intermediate) qualification will be considered an advantage
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles (in real estate or a related sector is preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting frameworks
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced MS Excel skills
- Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Candidates currently based in Trivandrum will be given preference.
