Job Responsibilities:
- Receive material requests from site engineers.
- Collect quotations from suppliers.
- Compare prices and select the best vendor.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO).
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
- Coordinate material delivery to project sites.
- Check the quantity and quality of received materials.
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Coordinate with the Site, Stores, and Accounts departments.
- Track pending orders and update the purchase status.
- Ensure materials are purchased within the approved budget.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
- Resolve material shortages, delays, and quality issues.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of façade and railing materials.
- Vendor negotiation skills.
- Purchase order preparation.
- BOQ understanding.
- MS Excel (Advanced).
- Cost analysis and budgeting.
- GST and invoice verification.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Daily Activities:
- Check site material requests.
- Obtain quotations from vendors.
- Compare quotations and finalize suppliers.
- Issue Purchase Orders.
- Follow up on deliveries.
- Update purchase tracker in Excel.
- Coordinate with stores for material receipt.
- Submit invoices to Accounts.
- Prepare daily purchase status report.
