About the Role
We are looking for a Billing & Accounts Executive to join our Hardware, Paints & Sanitary store. The ideal candidate should have experience with Busy 21 Accounting Software, be comfortable interacting with customers, and be capable of maintaining accurate billing and accounting records in real time.
Candidates with prior experience in Busy 21 will be given preference. Training can be provided to candidates with strong accounting knowledge and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate retail and GST invoices using Busy 21.
- Update all sales and purchase bills in Busy 21 on a real-time basis.
- Ensure accurate accounting of stock, pricing, GST, and inventory.
- Handle billing counter operations and provide excellent customer service.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the sales team to provide the right products.
- Verify purchase invoices and maintain supplier records.
- Record cash, UPI, card, and bank transactions accurately.
- Perform daily cash and billing reconciliation.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure data accuracy.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using Busy 21 Accounting Software.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, GST, and inventory management.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Honest, responsible, and willing to learn.
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounting, or retail operations.
- Experience in a hardware, paints, sanitary, electrical, or building materials store will be an added advantage.
- Commerce graduate (B.Com) or equivalent qualification preferred.
