Role overview
We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable behind the coffee machine and just as confident on the floor. This role combines barista duties with table service, so you’ll be part of both the coffee program and the guest experience from start to finish.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and beverages as per cafe standards
- Handle basic food plating and service during shifts
- Take orders, serve tables, and ensure guests are attended to promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the barista counter and service areas
- Manage mise-en-place, daily opening and closing duties
- Handle cash and POS billing accurately
- Communicate orders clearly with the kitchen team
- Assist during peak hours, events, or extended service when required
- Follow all service protocols and safety guidelines
What we’re looking for
- Prior experience as a barista or cafe server preferred
- Basic knowledge of coffee, brewing methods, and milk texturing
- Good communication skills and a friendly, guest-first attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced cafe environment
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and adapt to cafe systems and service style
