Develops, implements and continuously drives optimizations in the License, Asset & configuration management process, both within Akzonobel as with our strategic partners
Drives the professionalization and optimization of License & Asset management. Responsible for planning, monitoring, and recording software license assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
Works with the information available from the ITSM platform (ServiceNow). Further enhances the License & Asset Management platform
Will develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control & compliance throughout their lifecycles
Regularly reports out to relevant stakeholders on the license position per software product across the globe, including signaling potential risks and optimization potentials and financials
Supports IT Projects & Programs in during the project stages to the identification of License & Asset requirements, identification of procurement activities needed with Contract & Vendor Management/Sourcing and support the project team in developing the optimal charging mechanism
Manages and organizes periodical license audits conducted by software suppliers/vendors, including developing the right strategy per audit in cooperation
Interaction with other departments
Build trusted relationships with the business and colleagues from IT, Finance, Procurement, HR & Legal
Support the designated Contract & Vendor Managers (Sourcing department) in managing global license/asset and vendor relations to agree the most strategically advantageous commercial license arrangement .
