About CleverCat
CleverCat is a SaaS product built for Shopify e-commerce brands. We help online stores increase product discovery, engagement, and conversions through shoppable videos, UGC content, AI-powered recommendations, analytics, and Shopify integrations.
You’ll be working on a real product used by e-commerce businesses, not just practice projects. You’ll get hands-on experience building features, working with APIs, understanding Shopify stores, and solving real customer problems.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Development Intern with strong knowledge of React, JavaScript, and Node.js.
You’ll work closely with our team on the CleverCat product. Along with development, you’ll also learn our product and help with new Shopify client onboarding and technical implementation.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work on a real SaaS product and gain practical experience in both software development and e-commerce technology.
What You’ll Work On
- Build and improve frontend features using React and JavaScript
- Develop backend APIs and services using Node.js
- Work with REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Understand and work with our existing codebase
- Debug issues and improve application performance
- Learn and work with Shopify and Shopify App concepts
- Help integrate CleverCat with new Shopify stores
- Assist with new client onboarding
- Understand client requirements and help with technical implementation
- Learn the CleverCat product deeply and understand how its features work
- Work on real product features used by customers
What We’re Looking ForRequired
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of React.js
- Strong knowledge of Node.js
- Good understanding of frontend development
- Understanding of REST APIs
- Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand an existing codebase and learn new technologies
Shopify
Basic knowledge of Shopify is preferred.
You don’t need to be a Shopify expert. If you don’t know Shopify yet, that’s okay — you should be willing to learn Shopify and understand how Shopify stores and apps work.
Knowledge of Shopify Apps, Shopify APIs, Liquid, or e-commerce development will be a plus.
Important
We’re looking for someone who has actually built projects, not just completed courses.
You should have at least one deep or live project that you can explain in detail during the interview.

During the interview, we may ask about your project architecture, the problems you faced, and how you solved them.
Client Onboarding
You will also get an opportunity to work with new CleverCat customers.
You’ll learn how CleverCat works, understand Shopify stores, help merchants get started with the app, and assist with basic technical issues during onboarding.
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn are important for this part of the role.
Internship Details
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan — Work From Office
Duration: Approximately 3–6 months. The exact duration will be discussed and decided during the interview.
Stipend: This is a paid internship. The stipend will be discussed and finalized during the interview.
