About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Medical Biller to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. The ideal candidate should have 6 months to 1 year of experience in Medical Billing, AR Calling, or related healthcare revenue cycle processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build expertise in medical billing operations and healthcare insurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end medical billing activities, including claim submission, denial management, and accounts receivable follow-up.
- Ensure accurate claim data entry and compliance with payer guidelines.
- Monitor claim status and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.
- Coordinate with senior team members for claim follow-ups and issue resolution.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and payment-related inquiries.
- Maintain billing records and documentation accurately.
- Assist in preparing periodic billing reports and performance metrics.
- Support process improvement initiatives within the RCM team.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification (preferred but not mandatory).
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in AR Calling, Medical Billing, or related healthcare processes.
- Basic understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Medical Coding or Billing Certification is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical billing software is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to healthcare billing processes.
