*About the Role*
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, ETL development, and reporting. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to transform complex data into meaningful business insights that support strategic decision-making.
As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions while ensuring data quality, reliability, and efficiency.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation.
* Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
* Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
* Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business operations and decision-making.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.
* Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and governance across reporting systems.
* Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot performance issues.
* Support data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives.
* Present findings, recommendations, and insights to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
* Continuously improve data processes, reporting frameworks, and data quality standards.
*Required Skills*
* Strong proficiency in Python
* Advanced SQL knowledge and query optimization
* Experience with ETL Processes and Data Pipelines
* Data Analysis and Reporting
* Knowledge of Data Modeling and Data Transformation
* Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
* Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
* 1–3 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence.
* Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI.
* Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and best practices.
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms will be considered an added advantage.
