Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Consultant Urologist to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of diseases affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. The candidate will deliver high-quality patient care through OPD, IPD, emergency services, and surgical procedures while adhering to hospital protocols and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct OPD consultations and manage IPD patients with urological conditions.
Diagnose and treat disorders of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate, and male reproductive organs.
Perform urological surgeries and minimally invasive/endoscopic procedures.
Evaluate patients through clinical assessment and diagnostic investigations.
Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care.
Manage urological emergencies and coordinate multidisciplinary care when required.
Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.
Participate in CMEs, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
Qualification
MBBS + MS (General Surgery) + M.Ch.(Urology) (Preferred)
Experience
Relevant post-qualification experience in Urology is preferred.
Experience in laparoscopic and endourological procedures will be an advantage.
Required Skills
Expertise in diagnosing and managing urological disorders.
Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
