Your work profile
- Design, write, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
- Develop and optimize PostgreSQL functions, views, stored procedures, and indexes
- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and execution plan analysis
- Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency across databases
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to support ETL / ELT workflows
- Analyze large datasets to provide actionable business insights
- Work with Power BI datasets to support reporting and dashboards
- Support and enhance data workflows orchestrated using Apache Airflow
- Use PySpark for large-scale data processing and analytics
- Troubleshoot data quality and performance issues in production environments
- Participate in database design reviews and best practices implementation
Key Required Skills:
- 4–8 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
- Strong expertise in SQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Deep understanding of:
- Database concepts (normalization, indexing, transactions, constraints)
- Functions, views, stored procedures
- Proven experience in performance tuning and query optimization
- Solid experience in data analysis and handling large datasets
- Working knowledge of Power BI (data models, SQL-based datasets, visuals)
- Hands-on experience or strong exposure to:
- Apache Airflow
- PySpark
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts - OLAP
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
