Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Finance Intern to support our Finance Department in day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to finance processes while assisting the team with documentation, reconciliations, compliance activities, and routine accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in finance and accounting operations on a day-to-day basis.
- Perform data entry and maintain financial records with accuracy.
- Support bank, vendor, and account reconciliations.
- Assist in invoice processing and expense tracking.
- Help organize and maintain financial documents and records.
- Support GST-related documentation, data compilation, and compliance activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for finance-related information and approvals.
- Assist in preparing reports, MIS, and other finance-related documentation.
- Support audits and other compliance requirements as needed.
- Perform other routine finance and accounting tasks assigned by the Finance team.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of GST and basic taxation concepts.
- Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
