Job Description :
In this role, you will be responsible for developing Hardware design, Electronics subsystems design, testing in the product development labs for Avionics applications. You also perform trade analysis of different Technologies, design approaches, engineering simulations & modeling before finalizing the design. You are also responsible for performing product qualification in accredited labs.
– Must have strong experience in Product design and development from requirements to Conceptual design to architectural design to detailed design and analysis. Experience in the design and development of products for Avionics, Defense, or space applications is highly desirable
– Must have experience in the complete product life cycle from requirements to developing a qualified product
– Must have experience in performing feasibility analysis from requirements, different phases of product design, associated reviews, and required deliverables in each phase
– Must have strong knowledge of using simulation tools (PSPICE, Hand calculations, Architectural design, PUGH matrix ) for functional simulation, trade analysis
– Must have working experience in product performance evaluation (Hardware Verification) and product qualification to comply with MIL-STD and/or DO-160 standards
– Should have experience working with a multi-disciplinary team
– Should have an understanding and use of DFMEA, DFT, and DFM tools
– Must have strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills on electronics systems in identifying the root cause and fixing with an efficient solution and driving the process improvement with lessons learned
– Must have hands-on experience in design for EMI/EMC and solving any issues during the product qualification
– Must have experience in driving new technologies initiatives, product improvement initiatives, and value engineering initiatives
