We are seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee the company's agricultural estates, farmhouses, and green landscapes while ensuring efficient operations, sustainability, and maintenance.
Job Summary
The Farm Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of company-owned farms, landscaped properties, and agricultural estates. The role includes supervising farm staff, planning cultivation activities, maintaining irrigation systems, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preserving the aesthetic and commercial value of the properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong agricultural knowledge combined with people management and operational planning skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesFarm Operations
- Manage the daily operations of agricultural lands, orchards, nurseries, and landscaped estates.
- Plan seasonal cultivation, plantation, harvesting, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor soil health, irrigation systems, fertilizers, and pest control programmes.
- Ensure optimum productivity and sustainability of farm resources.
Estate & Property Maintenance
- Maintain farmhouses, boundary fencing, internal roads, water bodies, and utility infrastructure.
- Ensure cleanliness, landscaping, and overall upkeep of the property.
- Coordinate maintenance works through contractors and service providers.
Team Management
- Supervise farm supervisors, gardeners, security personnel, machine operators, and labourers.
- Prepare work schedules and allocate daily tasks.
- Recruit seasonal labour whenever required.
- Train staff on safety practices and efficient farming techniques.
Financial & Inventory Management
- Prepare annual farm operating budgets.
- Monitor expenses and optimise operational costs.
- Maintain inventory of fertilizers, pesticides, tools, machinery, diesel, and consumables.
- Procure farm materials through approved vendors.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with agricultural, labour, environmental, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain records related to crop production, labour attendance, machinery maintenance, and expenses.
- Implement workplace health and safety standards across farm operations.
Machinery & Infrastructure
- Oversee maintenance of tractors, pumps, irrigation systems, generators, and farm equipment.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of utilities including electricity and water.
Reporting
- Submit weekly and monthly reports covering:
- Farm productivity
- Budget utilisation
- Labour deployment
- Crop status
- Maintenance activities
- Improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in farm or estate management.
- Experience managing large agricultural estates, farmhouses, or real estate landscape projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, plantation management, landscaping, and farm mechanisation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and farm record management.

Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and industry standards.
Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
