Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Engineer with strong knowledge of computer hardware and software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of IT systems, along with networking and on-site service tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain computer hardware components such as desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications
- Assemble computer systems and ensure proper functioning of all components
- Set up and manage basic networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, cabling)
- Perform on-site service and support at client locations
- Handle cable routing and installation, including working at heights when required
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers
- Maintain service records and documentation of work completed
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems
- Experience in assembling and troubleshooting PCs
- Basic to intermediate networking knowledge
- Ability to perform cabling and installation work, including climbing when necessary
- Willingness to travel for field service assignments
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Computer Hardware/Networking or related field
- Prior experience in a similar service or field engineer role
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
