Major Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical design and drawings, tailored as per specific project requirements
- Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in Materials (BOQ)
- Design diagrams, maps and layouts to illustrate project workflow & production
- Support in providing all kinds of design information in the preparation of internal or external BOQs
- Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team
- Obtain design approval from the Client representative prior to critical design stagessuch as procurement of material and installation.
- Identify potential operational issues and redesign drawings to improve functionality
- Communication with client for drawings approval, technical details and follow upSecondary Functions
- Work in coordination with Proposal & Technical documentation team
- Coordination with Project Team at the time of project execution for any technical clarity/providing project specific required drawing & designs / or any client approvals
- Coordination with Fabrication team for guidance and trouble rectification
- Ensures technical documentation workflows between the involved parties as & whenrequired
- Basic training module preparation and basic induction & guidance as and when required to the new joiners
- Inter-state travel and site visits to be done as & when required
Communicating with site engineers to incorporate their insights into technical drawings.
Preparing, reviewing and refining the drafts alongside the engineering team
Qualification & Skills
Graduate in Engineering (B.sc / B.tech) with 4-5 years’ relevant experience Draftsman Training Course Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Proficiency in the following software: Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel), CAD/AUTOCAD (basic level), Adobe Acrobat or similar
Quality oriented, Structured and organized, attention to detail, time management skills Ability to grasp complex processes and structures
