Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for generating, qualifying, and nurturing sales opportunities through outbound calling, email outreach, and virtual communication.
The primary responsibility of the ISR is to connect with prospective clients, initiate conversations, and schedule qualified meetings for the Outside Sales team, thereby contributing to the company’s sales pipeline growth.
This role focuses on building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
The role is highly target-driven and requires strong communication skills, persistence and disciplined follow-up. ISRs are expected to achieve assigned quarterly targets, with consistent performance being mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective clients to generate qualified sales opportunities.
- Schedule meetings, virtual product demonstrations and appointments between prospective clients and the Outside Sales team.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through continuous lead generation and follow-ups.
- Follow up on inquiries, proposals, quotations and maintain regular communication with prospects to keep opportunities active.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of leads, calls, follow-ups, customer interactions and meeting schedules.
- Coordinate closely with the Outside Sales and Operations teams to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer objections professionally.
- Achieve quarterly targets related to meetings scheduled, pipeline generation and company Revenue.
- Stay updated on company offerings, pricing, competitor activities and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- 0–3 years of experience in inside sales, telesales, lead generation or B2B sales (IT/Services experience is an advantage).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in cold calling and handling prospect interactions professionally.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic sales analytics/reporting.
- Ability to work in a highly target-oriented environment.
- Strong follow-up, organization and time management skills.
- Self-discipline and consistency in daily calling activities.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
