Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and engineering requirements of our wastewater treatment projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing mechanical designs, equipment layouts, drawings, and technical documentation required for project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare mechanical designs and layouts for wastewater treatment plants and related systems.
- Develop equipment layouts, piping layouts, and mechanical drawings.
- Prepare and review technical specifications for mechanical equipment.
- Assist in equipment selection and sizing based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with process, civil, electrical, and project teams.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
- Review vendor drawings and technical submissions.
- Support project teams during fabrication, installation, and commissioning when required.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Work on design optimisation and improvements for future projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in mechanical design for wastewater treatment, water treatment, EPC, or industrial projects preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of SolidWorks or similar design software will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping systems, pumps, valves, and fabrication drawings.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
