We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to oversee and streamline jewellery manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of jewellery production processes, and the ability to manage teams while ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and supervise end-to-end jewellery production.
- Monitor daily production targets and ensure on-time order completion.
- Coordinate with CAD, CAM, casting, polishing, stone setting, QC, plating, and packing departments.
- Optimize production planning, manpower allocation, and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of product quality and craftsmanship.
- Control production costs, minimize wastage, and improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with merchandising, sales, and dispatch teams to meet customer deadlines.
- Prepare production reports, analyze performance, and implement process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant technical qualification.
- 5–10 years of experience in jewellery manufacturing, with at least 4–6 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of gold, silver, and diamond jewellery production processes.
- Experience in production planning, team management, and quality control.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/production management software is an advantage.
