Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to oversee the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of factory machinery and utilities. The ideal candidate will ensure maximum equipment uptime, implement preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and support production by maintaining a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures to minimize production downtime.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and utility teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and equipment reliability.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors during repair and installation activities.
- Maintain maintenance schedules, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and coordinate procurement when required.
- Install, commission, and validate new machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company maintenance procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction and energy-saving projects.
- Prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, and monthly performance metrics.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and equipment records.
- Train operators on basic machine care and preventive maintenance practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in factory or manufacturing maintenance.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of production equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, motors, and utilities.
- Familiarity with maintenance planning, spare parts management, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of TPM, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergency breakdowns.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
