Job Summary
We are looking for skilled and experienced Electricians to join our Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical systems and equipment onboard vessels and within the shipyard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment onboard ships.
- Perform cable laying, cable dressing, glanding, termination, and connection works.
- Install cable trays, conduits, junction boxes, lighting systems, and electrical panels.
- Carry out electrical troubleshooting and rectification of faults.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
- Install and connect motors, pumps, control panels, and other electrical equipment.
- Perform insulation resistance, continuity, and other electrical tests.
- Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure proper earthing and grounding of electrical installations.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other production teams.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure safe working practices.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrician, Electrical Engineering, or relevant trade.
- Valid Electrical License/Certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
2–8 years of relevant experience preferred.
Candidates with experience in Shipbuilding, Ship Repair, Marine, Industrial, Construction, or Heavy Engineering will be preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
