About the Role:
The Global Coordinated Pricing Programme (GIPP) is redefining pricing capabilities across bp, delivering modern pricing products, data platforms, AI/ML capabilities and commercial solutions that supports B2C, B2B and Fleet businesses globally.
GIPP focuses on crafting globally connected pricing capabilities, standardised core platforms and data-driven decision-making to improve commercial performance and operational efficiency.
As a Staff Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for owning the successful delivery of
Sophisticated digital products and technology initiatives across GIPP. You will partner closely with
Product Managers, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Business customers and vendor partners to ensure delivery of strategic capabilities whilst maintaining high standards of quality, governance.
Operational stability and compliance:
You will play a key role in driving delivery perfection across globally distributed teams and Handling dependencies spanning product, data, integration and platform workstreams.
Key Accountabilities:
Programme & Delivery Leadership:
Lead end-to-end delivery of GIPP initiatives from inception through deployment and hypercare.
Develop and handle delivery plans, achievements, release schedules and roadmap
execution.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Data, Architecture, UX and Operations.
Drive delivery against agreed scope, timelines, budget and business outcomes.
Establish proactive risk, issue and dependency management practices.
Agile Delivery Management
Facilitate Agile delivery processes and governance across multiple squads.
Drive sprint planning, release planning, backlog readiness and delivery forecasting.
Monitor team velocity, delivery metrics and programme health.
Remove delivery impediments and improve team efficiency.
Promote continuous improvement and operational perfection.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary delivery partner for Product Managers and Business stakeholders.
Provide regular executive-level status reporting, RAID management and progress updates.
Lead expectations across global stakeholders and leadership teams.
Drive alignment across multiple products, markets and business priorities.
Vendor & Partner Management
Lead delivery teams comprising bp employees and strategic partners.
Ensure supplier performance aligns to contractual obligations and programme outcomes.
Drive accountability, visibility and ownership across delivery teams.
Support resource planning and capacity management activities.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to bp delivery, security, risk and compliance standards.
Maintain programme governance artefacts including RAID logs, release plans and
reporting.
Support audit activities and ensure required controls are evidenced.
Drive production readiness and operational support planning.
Product & Technology Enablement
Partner with Product Managers to translate business outcomes into executable delivery
plans.
Work closely with Architects and Engineering Leads to handle technical dependencies.
Support delivery of pricing platforms, data products, integrations, analytics and AI
solutions.
Supply to long-term technology and delivery strategy.
Required Experience:
8+ years of technology delivery or programme management experience.
Meaningful experience delivering sophisticated enterprise digital transformation programmes.
Strong experience working within Agile and Scrum environments.
Experience handling globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Proven success leading third-party vendors and system integrators.
Experience delivering cloud, data, analytics or enterprise platform initiatives.
Strong financial management, planning and forecasting skills.
Experience working with senior business and technology customers.
Preferred Experience
Experience in pricing, retail, downstream energy, trading or commercial optimisation
domains.
Knowledge of product operating models and product-led delivery approaches.
Familiarity with AI/ML and data-driven product delivery.
Experience working within large-scale transformation programmes.
