The Guest Service Associate (GSA) in Food & Beverage Service is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences by delivering prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests. The role ensures guest satisfaction through attentive service, product knowledge, and teamwork within the restaurant or outlet.
Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Present menu and assist guests with food and beverage selections.
Take accurate orders and ensure timely service of food and beverages.
Check guest satisfaction during and after service; handle guest complaints politely and report to supervisor if needed.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the restaurant / dining area.
Operational Tasks
Set up tables according to service standards (mise-en-place).
Assist in buffet setup and clearance.
Handle billing procedures accurately and close checks properly.
Maintain proper stock of service items (cutlery, crockery, glassware, etc.).
Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth service.
Follow hygiene, grooming, and sanitation standards as per hotel policy.
Ensure food safety and cleanliness in service areas.
Adhere to all safety and emergency procedures.
Attend daily briefings and training sessions.
Keep updated with menu items, ingredients, and promotions.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
